The selected artists will choose the studios to develop their works, including:


Pottery studio;
 

Design studio;


Painting studio;
 

 

Printmaking studio ;


Photography and Video studio;

 Computer Graphics studio;


Three-dimensional studio

GENERAL REGULATIONS OF ARTISTIC RESIDENCY CARTES

1. The project is intended for temporary residence of national and foreign artists active in any disciplines. As the project does not have any sponsorship OR Government support , Each artist work spaces In the workshops and as counterpart gives opportunity to fostering the Arts through the Presentations Realization Space, shows , courses , workshops and artistic interventions


2. Artists must stay for a minimum of one (1) and maximum of three (3) months.


3. The selection of artists will be made by the Coordination of residence, Board members of the Arts UNIVASF every six months, being released the announcement and results on the page of the college


4. The presentation of the project should include:

• curriculum vitae with applicant data and artist portfolio;

• project to be developed, which included: objective, description, material and human needs, schedule and all other relevant and useful information for understanding the proposal; • proposal for interaction of the artist with the course of Arts and the community (eg workshops, classes, lectures, exhibitions, visits, partnerships);

• period for which the artist would like to stay at the residence (subject to the provisions in item 2 of this Regulation);


5. The artist portfolio will be send to: cartesresidencia@gmail.com

 

6. Project approval implies acceptance of the following terms by the resident:

• Authorization for institutional use of the artist's image and project / work being developed by the Cartes and the press office of UNIVASF in all types of media;

• Assignment by artist CARTES Library of documentary material (p. Ex. Catalogs, publications) related to their work.


7. If the artist need assistants should choose them, preferably between students of Arts College UNIVASF


8. Only the artist can stay at the residence of UNIVASF located at Simpatia street


9. The cleaning of the studios by employee UNIVASF take place once a week


10. The arrival and departure of the workshops should always occur on a business day and prearranged time with the charge of Art Residency, not interfering with class schedules.

 

11. On arrival the artist will sign the inventory of furniture and available in studio material, after a visit accompanied by the administrator and on this occasion will be scheduled a meeting with the Coordination of residence.


12. It is forbidden to host artist, without prior authorization, any person in his studio.


13. changing the studio's features, as well as your furniture is prohibited.


14. Residents are as occupiers and have no right to remain in place after the stipulated period, and are subject to hosting provisions of the Civil Code.


15. Art Residency CARTES is not responsible for lost luggage or personal belongings and left the studio.


16. The electrical power of the studios is 17,000 W / 220 v. To avoid any accident, it is prohibited to change the facilities or exceed this power.


17. Cartes may borrow equipment with proper return in perfect condition thereof


18. In the case of early departure, the artist must inform this fact to the Coordination of Artistic Residency CARTES, with one week in advance


19. At any time a representative of the CARTES can visit the studios, for the realization of its correct use.


20. Infringements of this Regulation or the legal rules, as well as any behavior that disturbs the order will subject the residents to certain sanctions for CARTES, including exclusion, in addition to reimbursement of damages. Sanctions or exclusions will be decided by the Coordination of residence and, if imposed exclusion, the applicant must leave the premises at the time that you are given.


21. Admission Artist in Residence Artistic CARTES program is effective in the signing of this Regulation, for which it is obliged to accept the above conditions and to return the duly released studio people and things of personal or professional use in certain date.


22. Omissions in this Charter shall be resolved by the Coordination of residence, or by legislation that applies in each case.
